About us (and a brief history of time on the coast)
Before 'the crunch' there were more estate agents than bars on the Costa del Sol – and there were a lot of bars. The market was dominated by 3 or 4 huge organizations, not only were they dominating the market but they were controlling it. Such was their power with the developers and the banks that people flocked to them, unknowingly paying large commissions along the way.
Thankfully those days are now gone, together with most of the agents. The agencies who survived diversified into other areas, long term rentals, holiday lets, property managements, basically anything to do with the property which didn't involve sales, as there were none.
The market is very slowly turning the corner, never to be the same again, or at least not for many years, but nevertheless sectors are showing signs for optimism.
Max Estates will be a part of that recovery, born from the desire of a group of people to do things differently - people who have been successful in other industries and businesses in the UK, who have lived and worked in Spain and seen the mistakes made by countless agencies along the coast. The team at Max Estates will work longer and harder to achieve its goal – to leave our customers happy – a simple statement, but one that takes hard work, dedication, transparency, integrity and above all, desire to achieve.
